After play unit, we started to study short story about The Yellow Wallpaper, The Story of An Hour, and The Birthmark.  In this unit, women change a lot.  Even though they still obeyed their husband, they had thoughts for themselves and they started to overcome.  Both Charlotte Perkins Gilman and Kate Chopin were feminists.  They struggled for the equality and freedom.  Gilman got the freedom finally because she got the rid of obstacles from her husband.  But there were not anyone can overcome the obstacles from her husband and society.  Georgiana lost her life because she obeyed her husband to remove her birthmark.  Nowadays, women can work with men, and women get more equality and freedom, but there still exists some inequality for women such as the salary.
